Open Reading Forest in Safari
Go to https://www.allisone.co.jp/tools/rf/rf.html -
Tap the Share button
Tap the (square with up arrow) icon at the bottom (or top) of the screen. -
Select "Add to Home Screen"
Scroll through the menu and tap "Add to Home Screen". -
Confirm and tap "Add"
Verify the app name (Reading Forest) and tap "Add" in the top right.
Note: On iPhone/iPad, only Safari supports adding to home screen. Chrome and other browsers do not have this feature.

Using Chrome

Open Reading Forest in Chrome
Go to https://www.allisone.co.jp/tools/rf/rf.html -
Open the menu
Tap the (three dots) icon in the top right. -
Select "Install app" or "Add to Home screen"
Choose the option from the menu. -
Tap "Install" or "Add"
Confirm by tapping "Install" or "Add" in the dialog (the button label varies depending on your device and Chrome version).
Tip: An install prompt banner may appear automatically. If so, just tap "Install" or "Add".
If a widget dialog appears:
On some devices, a dialog saying "Press and hold the widget to move it to the home screen" may appear. In this case, long press and drag the displayed icon to place it wherever you like on your home screen. Alternatively, tap the "Add to Home screen" button.

Using Chrome

Open Reading Forest in Chrome
Go to https://www.allisone.co.jp/tools/rf/rf.html -
Click the install icon in the address bar
Click the install icon (
this icon) that appears on the right side of the address bar.

Click "Install"
Confirm by clicking "Install" in the dialog.
Alternative method: Click the (three dots) icon in the top right corner and select "Install Reading Forest" or "Install app" from the menu (this option may not appear in some Chrome versions).
If the install icon doesn't appear:
- It won't appear if already installed
- Wait for the page to fully load
- Try Ctrl + Shift + R to clear cache and reload
- Check chrome://apps to view or remove existing installations

Click the icon in the address bar
Click the (App available) icon on the right side of the address bar. -
Click "Install"
When prompted "Install Reading Forest?", click "Install".

From the menu bar, select File > Add to Dock
Or use the Share button and select "Add to Dock". -
Click "Add"
Verify the app name and click "Add".
Safari PWA support was added in macOS Sonoma (14.0) and later.
About Login
Even when added to your home screen, login works the same as in a regular web browser.
How Login Works
- First launch: You need to sign in with your Google account
- Subsequent launches: You stay logged in as long as your session is valid
- Session expiry: You may need to log in again after a certain period or depending on browser settings
For school-managed devices:

How to Uninstall
- iPhone/iPad: Long press the icon > "Delete App" or "Delete Bookmark"
- Android: Long press the icon > "Uninstall" or "Remove"
- Windows/Mac: Open the app > Use browser menu to "Uninstall" or use standard app removal methods
