Toolbar buttons are organized into four groups: File Operations, Edit Operations, Navigation, and Print. Groups are separated by vertical dividers.

File Operations

  • Open

    Display a dialog to open a file from local storage, Google Drive, or your bookshelf.

  • Quick Save

    Instantly overwrite the current file without any dialogs (Quick Save).
    Shortcut: Ctrl+S (Windows/Linux) / Cmd+S (Mac)
    * On first save, a dialog will appear to choose the save location.
    * To specify a different location or filename, use [File] → [Save] → [Local] from the menu.

Edit Operations

  • Undo

    Cancel the previous action. Shortcut: Ctrl+Z
    Click the ▼ button to view a list of recent actions and jump back to a specific point.

  • Redo

    Redo the canceled action. Shortcut: Ctrl+Y
    Click the ▼ button to view the redo history.

Navigation

  • Add Book

    Add a new book to your reading list. A form appears to enter title, author, ISBN, and other details.

  • Search

    Open a dialog to search and filter books by title, author, genre, and more.

  • Book List

    Display a list of all books in the currently open file. Select a book to jump to it.
    * This button appears when the file contains two or more books.

Print

  • Print

    Print the current reading logs (book list or detailed information). Shortcut: Ctrl+P

About Button States

Some buttons are enabled (clickable) or disabled (grayed out) depending on the situation.
For example, the "Quick Save" button is disabled when no file is open. It becomes enabled once you open or create a file.
