How to search for text within a book and quickly find what you're looking for
What is Find?
Find is a feature that searches for text within the currently open book.
When you want to find specific words or phrases, you can quickly navigate to the target page.

Instantly search the entire book and display all matches

All search results are marked in light yellow, and the current result is emphasized in dark blue. The light yellow marks remain even after closing the search dialog.

Opening the Search Panel
Press to open the search panel.
- Press with a book open When you press the shortcut key while reading a book, the search panel appears.
- Or open from Menu You can also select "Edit → Find" from the menu.

Basic Search Method
- Enter search keyword Enter the word or phrase you want to find in the search box.
- Press Enter or click the search button The search is executed and matches are highlighted.
- Check search results The number of results appears at the top and jumps to the first result.
- Navigate between results Move between results using "Next"/"Previous" buttons or Enter / Shift+Enter.
Highlight display example:
Giovanni was running through the night of the Galaxy Express. Outside the window, he could see the track of the Galaxy Express sparkling with stars. He felt like he could go anywhere on the Galaxy Express.
* The current result is emphasized in blue, and all other search results are marked in light yellow.
* The light yellow marks remain even after pressing the "Close" button on the search dialog, so you can compare multiple search results. Starting a new search with a different keyword will clear the old marks automatically.
Search Options
The search panel allows you to specify more detailed search conditions.
Case Sensitive
Searches "Hello" and "hello" as different words in English text
Match Whole Word
Searching for "the" won't match "other"
Regular Expression
Specify complex search conditions using pattern matching
Chapter [0-9]+ → Matches "Chapter 1", "Chapter 2", "Chapter 10", etc.galaxy|universe → Matches "galaxy" or "universe"

Start with Short Keywords
Start with short keywords, then narrow down if too many results
Search by Phrase
Enter multiple words together to search for that exact sequence
Use Search History
the search box to see past search keywords
Text within images or scanned PDFs without OCR processing is not searchable.
Please use the search function with text-based PDF files.
