Paid Plan Feature
The catalog window is a paid plan exclusive feature. It is not available in the free version. This feature is extremely useful when managing large numbers of books or when you want to perform operations on multiple books at once.
Available Columns
In the catalog window, book information is displayed across multiple columns. Each column displays different information and can be clicked to sort.
Column Types
- Selection Checkbox
Used to select multiple books at once - Cover
Thumbnail cover image (becomes "Poster" for movies, "Artwork" for music) - Title
Book title - Author / Credits
Book category shows the author name. Video and music categories use the column name "Credits" and list all registered credits with labels (e.g. Director: Hirokazu Kore-eda / Cast: Kei Tanaka, Takako Matsu). Even when only a screenplay or other credit is registered without a director, all available credits are shown. - Total Pages
Total number of pages (becomes "Runtime" for movies, "Duration" for music) - Progress
Progress bar with percentage (becomes "View Rate" for movies, "Play Rate" for music). Reading status icons (📚unread / 📖reading / ⏸️stalled / ✅completed) are integrated into the column - Target Date
Reading completion target date - Priority
Reading priority - Rating
★★★★★ star rating - Latest Reading Date
Most recent date a record was added (becomes "Last Viewed" / "Last Played") - Memo Count
Total memo lines across all records
Sorting Features
The catalog window offers two sorting methods: using dropdown menus and clicking column headers.
Sort Dropdown Menu
The two dropdowns to the right of the search bar let you intuitively configure sorting.
- Selecting Sort Column
Use the left dropdown to select the column to sort by:- 📚 Title - Sort by book title
- ✍️ Author - Sort by author name
- 📄 Pages - Sort by total page count
- 📊 Progress - Sort by reading progress percentage
- 📅 Last read - Sort by last reading date
- 📝 Memo lines - Sort by memo line count
- 🎯 Predicted - Sort by predicted completion date
- Toggle Ascending/Descending
Use the right dropdown to select "↑ Asc" (ascending) or "↓ Desc" (descending) - Sync with Main Page
Changing the sort in the catalog window automatically reflects in the main page's sort dropdown and vice versa
Sorting by Column Headers
- Click column name to sort
Clicking any column header will sort by that column's values in ascending order - Click again to toggle ascending/descending
Clicking the same column header again will switch to descending order. Clicking again will return to ascending order - Sort indicators (▲▼) are displayed
The currently sorted column displays ▲ for ascending order and ▼ for descending order
Clear Sorting
- Clear from Dropdown
Select "No sort" from the left dropdown to clear sorting and return to the original order (registration order in the reading log) - Keyboard Shortcut
Press Alt+K or click the menu bar [View]→[Clear Sort] to clear sorting
Reordering Columns with Drag & Drop
The display order of columns can be freely changed with drag & drop. Placing frequently used columns in visible positions improves work efficiency.
Column Reordering Steps
- Drag the column header
Click and hold the column header you want to move with your mouse - Drop at desired position
While dragging the column, move it left or right, and release the mouse button at the desired position - Customized order is saved
The changed column order is automatically saved and will be displayed in the same order the next time you open it
Resetting Column Widths and Order
After customizing column widths and order, you can use the "Reset" button to restore them to their initial state.
Reset Feature
- Reset Button
Click the "Reset" button in the upper right corner of the catalog window to restore column widths and order to their initial state - What Gets Reset
Column widths and display order are all restored to their default values - Confirmation Dialog
A confirmation message is displayed before the reset is executed. The reset will not be performed until you click "OK" to prevent accidental operations
When This Is Useful
- When you accidentally made a column width extremely narrow
- When you want to restore the original layout after making various column order changes
- When you want to match display settings with others
Actions from the Catalog
From the catalog window, you can perform operations on multiple books at once or open individual book details.
Operation Methods
- Multiple selection with checkboxes
Click the checkboxes on the left end of each row to select multiple books. You can also select all by clicking the checkbox in the header - Operations after selection
You can perform operations such as copy, cut, delete, and save to another file on selected books; operations can be performed using the operation buttons in the window - Double-click to open book details
Double-clicking any row will display the detailed information for that book
Tips
- Column order can be freely changed by dragging. Place frequently referenced columns like title and author on the left side for quicker access
Gallery View
In addition to the traditional table display, the catalog window offers a gallery view that arranges book covers in a grid layout.
Switching Between List and Gallery
At the top of the catalog window, [List] and [Gallery] toggle buttons are displayed.
- [List] Button
Displays in the traditional table format. This is selected by default - [Gallery] Button
Displays book covers as cards in a grid layout
Size Toggle
When you switch to gallery mode, buttons for changing the card size in three levels become available.
- S (Small)
Shows the cover image only. Useful when browsing many books at once. For entries without a cover image, the title is shown (up to 3 lines) so you can identify what it is - M (Medium, default)
Shows the cover along with the title and author (director for movies, artist for music) - L (Large)
Shows the cover, title, author, page count, impression, rating (stars), and progress bar
Category Sections
If the reading log contains two or more media types, the gallery is automatically divided into three sections: 📖 Books / 🎬 Movies & TV / 🎵 Music (with a count next to each heading). If only one type is present, the gallery is shown as a single grid without section headings.
Search Integration
- Real-time Filtering
When you type in the search bar at the top, only cards matching the title or author name are displayed in the gallery. The same search criteria as the list view are applied instantly
Clicking a Card
- Scroll to Book in Main Window
Clicking a card in the gallery automatically scrolls the main window to the corresponding book
A [Print] button is available in both list and gallery modes.
- Selecting Print Items
Click [Print] to open the settings panel, where you can use checkboxes to choose which items to include: Reading Graph / Reading Calendar / Cover / Title / Author / Pages & Impression / Rating / Progress - [Print] Button
After confirming your settings, click [Print] to execute the print
Display for Movie/Music Files
Labels, columns, and layout in the catalog window automatically adapt to the types of entries in the reading log. Each entry is classified into one of three categories:
- 📖 Books — regular books (credits do not include video/music roles)
- 🎬 Movies & TV — credits include any of Director, Screenplay, Cast, or Channel
- 🎵 Music — credits include any of Singer, Performer, Composer, Conductor, or Lyricist
Automatic split into three categories
When a reading log contains two or more media types, the list and gallery are automatically divided into three sections: 📖 Books / 🎬 Movies & TV / 🎵 Music. Each section uses column headers appropriate to its category (Author / Director / Artist, etc.). When only one type is present, the section heading is omitted and a single table is shown.
Labels that change per category
- Window Icon
(books) / (video) / (music) - Column Headers
Cover → Poster / Artwork, Author → Credits (same for video and music; each row lists labels like "Director: / Cast: / Screenplay: / Singer: / Composer:"), Total Pages → Runtime / Duration, Progress → View Rate / Play Rate, Last Read → Last Viewed / Last Played - Sort Options
Sort choices also change per category - Stats / Page Headers
"Registered Books" → "Registered Works", "Read / Total Pages" → "Watched / Total Runtime", etc. - Reading Volume Graph / Calendar
When all entries are video, terminology changes to "Viewing Time Graph" / "Viewing Calendar", etc.
Behavior in mixed libraries
Older versions switched to movie-oriented display only when all entries were video. The current version classifies each entry individually and splits the view into separate tables per category, so mixed reading logs naturally display appropriate information per entry.
