Data recorded in Reading Forest can not only be saved as text files, but also printed as paper records or exported in other formats for various uses. You can take advantage of the best of both digital and analog worlds.

- 💾 Text File Save Save your reading logs in .txt format. Since it's a simple text format, it can be opened in other apps and has high versatility.

📄 Export Formats
- .xlsx (Excel Format) [Paid Plan Only] Save in spreadsheet format that can be opened in Microsoft Excel. Convenient for aggregating and analyzing reading data. The "Publisher" credit field is exported as the Publisher column.
- .csv (CSV Format) Comma-separated text format. Can be opened in Excel or spreadsheets.
- .md (Markdown Format) [Paid Plan Only] Save in Markdown format. Convenient for reposting to blogs or integrating with technical documents.
- .html (HTML Format) [Paid Plan Only] Save in a format that can be opened in a browser. You can share while maintaining the layout.
- .bib (BibTeX Format) [Paid Plan Only] Format for creating reference lists for academic papers. Can be used with LaTeX, Zotero, Mendeley, etc. The publisher/institution name entered in the "Publisher" credit field is exported as the BibTeX publisher field.
- PDF (Using Print Function) By selecting "Save as PDF" from the print dialog, you can save and share your reading logs as a beautiful PDF (free for all plans).

Reading Forest automatically optimizes the layout for printing.
- Print Styles Unnecessary elements like buttons and menus are hidden, and only the content is printed beautifully.
- Page Breaks Long reading logs are properly divided by page. They can be printed neatly without being cut off in the middle.
- Color/Monochrome Support Designed to be readable when printed on either color or monochrome printers.
- PDF Save Available By selecting "Save as PDF" from the print dialog, you can save it as a PDF file.
