Changing Email Address
How to change your account's email address
- Email address can be changed once every 30 days
- The new email address must be your own email address (cannot be changed to anyone else's email address, including family members)
- A 6-digit confirmation code will be sent to your current email address
- A confirmation link will be sent to your new email address
- Open the link sent to your new email address and enter the 6-digit confirmation code sent to your current email address
Change Procedure
Open Settings
After logging into Reading Forest, click the "Settings" button (gear icon) in the upper right corner of the screen.
Select Account Tab
When the settings screen opens, click "Account" from the tabs at the top.
Fill in Email Change Form
In the "Email Address Change" section, enter the following information:

Check Two Emails
When you click the "Change Email Address" button, two emails will be sent:

Note the Confirmation Code
Open the "[Reading Forest] Email Address Change Confirmation Code" email sent to your current email address and note the 6-digit confirmation code listed.
You will need this code in the next step.
Click the Confirmation Link for New Email Address
Open the "[Reading Forest] Email Address Change Confirmation" email sent to your new email address.
Click the email address change confirmation link in the email. A browser will open and display the confirmation code entry screen.
* For text emails, copy the URL and paste it into your browser's address bar.
Enter Confirmation Code
When you click the confirmation link, the confirmation code entry screen will be displayed.
Enter the 6-digit confirmation code you noted earlier. You can copy and paste it or type the numbers directly.
Change Complete
When you enter the correct confirmation code, the email address change is complete.
A change completion notification email will be sent to both your old and new email addresses.
For your next login, please use your new email address.
Frequently Asked Questions
I didn't receive the confirmation email
Please check the following:
① Check your spam folder
② Check if there are any typos in the email address (you may have entered the wrong address)
③ If 24 hours have passed, please start over from the beginning
I entered the wrong email address
If the 6-digit confirmation code doesn't match, the email address will not be changed, so you can rest assured even if you entered the wrong address.
The owner of the wrong address cannot complete the change because they don't know the 6-digit confirmation code sent to your current email address.
It will automatically become invalid after 24 hours. Please proceed with the change procedure again with the correct email address.
I didn't receive the confirmation code
The confirmation code is sent to your current email address (address before change).
Not to your new email address, so please be careful.
① Check your spam folder
② Search for the subject "[Reading Forest] Email Address Change Confirmation Code"
It says the confirmation code is incorrect
Please check the following:
① Copy and paste the confirmation code from the email sent to your current email address (before change), or type the noted numbers directly
② Confirm that all 6 digits are entered correctly
③ Check if the confirmation code expiration (24 hours) has passed
I want to change again within 30 days
There is a limit of once every 30 days.
If urgent, please contact Support.
If You Forgot Your Email Address
If you forgot your registered email address, we will verify your identity with your name and date of birth, and display part of the registered email address on the screen.
(For security reasons, it will be displayed partially masked. Example: ex***le@gm***.com)
* This feature is only available if you filled in your name at registration.
Access Email Verification Page
Click the "Forgot your email address?" link on the login page or password reset page.
To access directly:

Enter Name and Date of Birth
Please enter the information you provided at account registration accurately:
- Name - Enter exactly as registered
- Date of Birth - Enter year, month, and day or select from calendar
Important Notice
Attempts are limited to 5 times per hour.
Check Email Address Hint
If the information entered matches the registered information, part of the registered email address will be displayed on the screen in a masked state.
Use this hint to remember your own email address.
Login with Email Address
Use the email address you remembered with the hint to login.
If you also forgot your password, please use Reset Password.
Security Notice
If you cannot find information using this email address inquiry feature, the information you entered may differ from what was registered.
If you cannot resolve it no matter what, please contact Support.
Changing Password
How to change your account's password
- 8-24 characters
- Alphanumeric and common symbols allowed (browser auto-generated passwords also supported)
- Japanese characters cannot be used
Change Procedure
Open Settings
After logging into Reading Forest, click the "Settings" button (gear icon) in the upper right corner of the screen, and select the "Account" tab.
Fill in Password Change Form
In the "Password Change" section, enter the following information:

| New Password (Confirmation) | Enter the same password again to prevent typos |
Change Complete
When you click the "Change Password" button, the password is changed immediately.
If the message "Password changed successfully" is displayed, it was successful.
For your next login, please use your new password.
Using a password manager is also recommended.
If You Forgot Your Password
If you forgot your password, you can reset it with the following procedure.
Click "Forgot your password?" on Login Page
Access the login page and click the "Forgot your password?" link below the login button.
Enter Email Address
On the password reset request page, enter your registered email address and click the "Send Reset Link" button.
Click Link in Email
An email with the subject "[Reading Forest] Password Reset Instructions" will be sent to your registered email address.
Please click the reset link in the email.
Set New Password
When you click the link, the password reset page will open.
Enter your desired new password twice and click the "Change Password" button.
Reset Complete
If the message "Password changed successfully" is displayed, it's complete.
You can now login with your new password.
Changing Group Plan Member Count
How to change the number of members in a group plan (Owner-only feature)
- Only the owner of the group plan can use this feature
- Member count can be set in the range of 2-100 people
- Fee is automatically calculated based on member count (e.g. 2 people ¥570, 5 people ¥1,140, 10 people ¥2,090)
- Increasing member count: Changes are reflected immediately, and the increase is charged prorated
- Decreasing member count: The contract slots and fees will be changed from the next billing date. You can use the current contract slots (member count) until the next billing date
Change Procedure
Open Settings
After logging into Reading Forest, click the "Settings" button (gear icon) in the upper right corner of the screen, and select the "Account" tab.
Check Group Plan Member Count Change Section
The "Group Plan Member Count Change" section is displayed in the Account tab.
Your current contract information is displayed here:

Enter New Member Count
In the "New Member Count" field, enter the number of members you want to change to (2-100 people).
If you want to reduce the number, please remove members from the group first.
Check Fee
When you click the "Check Fee" button, a preview of the fee after the change will be displayed.

The more members, the lower the per-person cost
Change Member Count
After checking the fee, click the "Change Member Count" button.
A confirmation dialog will appear, so check the content and click "OK".
- Changes are reflected immediately
- Fee is automatically adjusted by proration
- New fee is applied on the next billing date
Change Complete
If the message "Group member count changed" is displayed, it's complete.
The new monthly fee is also displayed.
The screen will automatically update, and the new member count and fee will be displayed in the current contract information.
Frequently Asked Questions
The Group Plan Member Count Change section is not displayed
This feature is displayed only to the group owner.
If you are participating as a group member, it will not be displayed.
Please ask the group owner to change the member count.
What is the relationship between member deletion and contract slots?
When deleting members, you can choose from the following:
① Maintain Contract Slots
Even after deletion, contract slots remain as they are. You can invite new members. Fee does not change.
② Reduce Contract Slots
Contract slots are reduced to the number after deletion. Fee will be reduced from the next billing date.
③ Switch to Personal Plan (when only owner remains)
If the group becomes only one person, you can switch to Personal Plan (¥380/month). Applied from the next billing date.
* Multiple simultaneous deletions possible, changes up to 10 times per day
What if the group becomes only one person?
If you delete the last member and only the owner remains, you can choose from the following:
① Maintain Group Plan (2-person slot ¥570/month)
Maintain the group plan. You can invite members later.
② Switch to Personal Plan (¥380/month, recommended)
Switch to Personal Plan. Saves ¥190. Applied from the next billing date. Group will be disbanded.
When is the fee charged?
When increasing member count:
The increased fee is immediately charged prorated.
Example: If you increase from 10 to 15 people in the middle of the month, you will be charged additionally for 5 people only for the remaining days.
When decreasing member count:
The new fee is applied from the next billing date.
The current fee continues until the next billing date, and you can use the current contract slots (member count) during that period.
* Example: If you reduce from 10 to 5 people, you pay for 10 people until the next billing date and can invite up to 10 people
How many members can be added at maximum?
The maximum number of members in a group plan is 100 people.
This is a restriction to prevent resale.
If you wish to use it in an organization exceeding 100 people, please contact support.
Can I cancel a member count change?
Cancellation is possible before executing the change (before pressing "OK" in the confirmation dialog).
Cancellation after the change is not possible, but you can adjust by changing the member count again.
Is there a limit on member composition changes?
Member composition can be changed up to 10 times per day.
This is a restriction to prevent abuse.
If you make multiple changes before the next billing date, the last change will be applied.
If you reach the limit, it will reset the next day (midnight Japan time).
An error is displayed
Please check the following:
① Is the member count within the range of 2-100 people
② Are you specifying a number greater than the current member count
③ Is your internet connection normal
④ Are you logged in as the group owner
