How to Format Text?

In Reading Forest, you can easily format text by simply selecting it.

Just Select to Show Formatting Menu

When you select text in the notes area, a formatting menu pops up. Simply click the formatting option you want to apply it to your selected text.

3 Simple Steps

  1. Select the text you want to format
  2. Choose an option from the formatting menu
  3. Formatting is instantly applied

Available Formatting

Text Styles

B Bold Emphasize important words
I Italic Terms, quotes
U Underline Mark important parts
S Strikethrough Corrections
A↑ Larger Headings, emphasis
A↓ Smaller Supplementary info

Font Color

Click "Font Color" to open a color palette. Choose from 60+ colors.

Highlight (Background Color)

Click "Highlight" to open a background color palette. Use it like a highlighter pen.

Undo

Made a mistake? Press Ctrl+Z (or Cmd+Z on Mac) to undo.
