Customizing Settings

Customize Reading Forest's behavior to make it work better for you.

Opening Settings

Click the settings button in the top right
Review and modify options in each tab

Display Settings

Show unread books: Toggle on/off
Show finished books: Toggle on/off
Display order: By date added, title, etc.
Card/List view: Choose your preferred display format

Data Management Settings

Auto-save: Automatically save changes to browser (uses localStorage)
Clear data: Delete all data (requires confirmation)

Google Drive Settings

Connect to Google Drive: Initial connection setup
Disconnect: Remove Google Drive integration
Check connection status: View current connection state

Recommended Settings

Show finished books: Keep this on to easily review past reading records.
Auto-save: Keep this on to prevent data loss from accidental actions.
