Search Tips

Here are some tips for using Reading Forest's search features more effectively.

  • Case Sensitivity
Search is case-insensitive. Searching for "forest" will match "Forest" and "FOREST" as well
  • Partial Match Search
Search uses partial matching. Searching for "Soseki" will also match "Natsume Soseki"
  • Search Across Multiple Books
Search targets all registered books. You can find information not just from one book, but from all books
  • Highlighted Search Results
Matching sections are highlighted on the screen, making them visually easy to find

Search Strategies

If you can't find the book you're looking for, try shortening your search keywords or using different expressions. For example, if you can't find "I Am a Cat", try searching for just "Cat" or "Am".
