Device limits by plan and management methods
What is Device Management
Reading Forest manages the number of devices that can be linked to your account. This is a security feature to protect your account from unauthorized access and keep your precious reading data safe.

The number of devices available for each plan is as follows. Please choose the best plan according to your usage needs.

If you want to use both smartphone and PC, consider upgrading to the Personal Plan. With the Personal Plan, you can use up to 2 devices simultaneously.
Checking Device Registration
You can check currently registered devices from the settings screen.
How to check
- Open settings screen
Click the settings button (gear icon) in the top right corner - Select "Devices" tab
Click the "Devices" tab in the settings screen - Check registered devices
A list of currently registered devices will be displayed - Check current device

When you reach the device limit, registering a new device will automatically unregister the oldest device.
Replacement procedure
- Log in from new device
Log in to Reading Forest on the device you want to use - Click "Register this device" button
If the device limit is reached, a confirmation screen will appear - Automatic unregistration of old device
The oldest registered device is automatically unregistered and the new device is registered - Replacement complete
Reading Forest becomes available on the new device

- Exceeding the device limit will prevent access from old devices
- Data is saved in the cloud, so no data is lost when changing devices
- After replacement, Reading Forest cannot be used on unregistered devices
FAQ
Q: What if I want to use both smartphone and PC?
A: You need the Personal Plan or higher. The Free Plan allows only 1 device, but by upgrading to the Personal Plan, you can use both smartphone and PC simultaneously.
Q: What happens to settings when I change devices?
A: Since data is saved in Google Drive, changing devices does not affect settings or data. When you log in on a new device, you can immediately resume using the same environment as before.
Q: What if device registration doesn't work?
A: Manually unregister other devices from the settings screen and try registering the device again. If the issue persists, please contact support.
