Editing Book Information

You can easily edit the information of registered books at any time. Double-click (or long-press) a book card to open the inline edit form, where you can directly edit each field.

Editing Steps

  • 1. Double-click (or long-press) a book card
    Double-click on the title or author area of a book card on the bookshelf to open the edit form. You can also long-press to start editing
  • 2. Change the content
    Enter the new content in the text box
  • 3. Confirm
    Press the Enter key or click elsewhere to confirm the change

Free Plan Limitation

On the free plan, you can edit books (works) when the file contains 20 or fewer books (works). If there are more than 20 books (works), the file becomes read-only. You can edit again by moving or deleting books (works) to bring the count to 20 or fewer. Paid plans allow editing with no limit on the number of books (works).

Editable Fields

  • Title
    You can change the book title
  • Credits (Creator Information)
    Record not only authors but also supervisors, translators, directors, screenwriters, cast members, lyricists, composers, performers, and other creators. Click "Add Credit" to add a row, then select the type and enter names. Multiple names can be entered in one row by separating them with commas (,). Remove unnecessary credit rows by clicking the "−" button (author can also be removed).
  • Page Count
    You can change the total number of pages
  • ISBN
    You can change the ISBN number
  • Cover Image
    You can set the cover image URL
  • Comments
    You can add notes and comments about the book

About the Credits Feature

The credits feature allows you to record creator information for various media including books, movies, music, and games.

  • Author - Book author (default)
  • Supervisor - Supervisors
  • Translator - Translators
  • Director - Film/drama directors
  • Screenplay - Screenwriters
  • Cast - Actors, voice actors, etc.
  • Lyricist - Lyricists
  • Composer - Composers
  • Performer - Musicians, performers
  • Other - Other roles (custom input)

Tip

Press the Esc key while editing to cancel the change and revert to the original.

Changing Cover Image

Tap the button next to the cover image field to open the image source selection screen. You can set a cover image by choosing from files, taking a photo, or searching on Google Images.

Deleting Books

Books that are no longer needed can be easily deleted. Multiple deletion methods are available, so you can choose your preferred method.

Deletion Method 1: Keyboard Shortcut

  • 1. Select a book
    From the book list, click on the card of the book you want to delete to select it
  • 2. Press the Delete key
    Press the Delete key on your keyboard
  • 3. Confirm in the confirmation dialog
    A deletion confirmation dialog will appear, click the "Delete" button

Deletion Method 2: Delete from Book List Window Paid Plan Only

  • 1. Open the book list window
    Select [Edit] → [Book List] from the menu bar
  • 2. Select a book
    Select the book you want to delete from the list
  • 3. Click the delete button
    Click the delete button in the window

Warning

When you save the file, deleted books will be permanently lost. Please check the deletion content before saving.

Restoring Deleted Books

If you accidentally delete a book, you can restore it before saving. Use the "Undo" function to cancel the deletion operation.

Restore Methods

  • Method 1: Keyboard Shortcut
    Press Ctrl+Z (Windows) or Cmd+Z (Mac) to undo the previous deletion operation
  • Method 2: Undo Button
    Click the "Undo" button (arrow icon) at the top right of the screen
  • Method 3: Execute from Menu
    Select [Edit] → [Undo] from the menu bar (or press Ctrl+Z)

Important Note

After saving the file, you cannot restore deleted books. If you want to restore a deleted book, perform the "Undo" operation before saving.

Number of Undos

The undo function can go back through multiple operations. You can undo not only the most recent operation, but also multiple previous operations in sequence.

Batch Deletion

If you want to delete multiple books at once, use the multiple selection feature. You can organize efficiently.

Batch Deletion Steps

  • 1. Select multiple books
    Select multiple books using one of the following methods
    • Ctrl+click (Windows) / Cmd+click (Mac): Select multiple books individually
    • Shift+click: Select consecutive books by range
  • 2. Press the Delete key
    Press the Delete key on your keyboard
  • 3. Confirm in the confirmation dialog
    The number of selected books will be displayed in the deletion confirmation dialog. Check the content and click the "Delete" button

Selection Tip

Selected books can be visually identified by a change in background color. To deselect, click again while holding down Ctrl.

Batch Deletion Warning

When deleting multiple books at once, please check the selected content carefully before deletion. We recommend checking again in the deletion confirmation dialog to ensure you haven't accidentally selected necessary books.
