How to Clear Browser Cache

⚠️ Why do you need to clear cache?
Browsers save data from visited pages (cache) to load faster.
Even if the site is updated, changes won't appear if old cache remains.
You need to clear cache to see the latest version.

⚡ Quickest Method (All Platforms)

✅ Hard Refresh (Force Reload)
This bypasses the cache and fetches the latest files from the server.
Best when you want to refresh a specific page.

📌 Windows PC (Chrome, Edge, Firefox)

Open the Reading Forest page
Press Ctrl + Shift + R simultaneously

Or Ctrl + F5 also works
The page reloads and the latest version appears

🍎 Mac (Chrome, Safari, Firefox)

Open the Reading Forest page
Press Command + Shift + R simultaneously

For Safari: Command + Option + R
The page reloads and the latest version appears

📱 Smartphone / Tablet (Android, iPhone)

Android Chrome: Tap the 3-dot menu (⋮) → Long press the reload icon (🔄)
Tap the 3-dot menu (⋮) at the top right, then long press the circular arrow icon. "Refresh" will appear. Tap it to perform a hard refresh (cache clear).
iPhone: Long press the browser's refresh button (🔄)
Long press the "🔄" icon at the right end of Safari's address bar to reload without cache.
The page reloads and the latest version appears

💡 If you can't find the refresh button on mobile:
You can also reload by swiping down from the top of the screen, but the cache remains.

Select "Settings"
Click "Privacy and security" in the left menu
Click "Delete browsing data"
Select the "Advanced" tab
Time range: Select "All time"

Select the "Advanced" tab
Check "Show Develop menu in menu bar"
Click [Develop]→[Empty Caches] in the menu bar

Click [Safari]→[Clear History...] in the menu bar → Select "all history" → Click "Clear History"

If not found, tap [History]→[Delete browsing data]
Time range: Tap "Last 15 minutes" and change to "All time"
Items to delete: Check both of the following

Tap "Delete data" button

Scroll down and tap "Safari"

In the confirmation popup, tap "Clear History and Data"

⚠️ Note:
This method logs you out of all sites.
If you want to clear cache for a specific site only, see "Advanced settings" below.

Settings → Safari → Advanced → Website Data → Swipe left on "allisone.co.jp" → Delete

🔧 Troubleshooting

❓ If nothing changes after clearing cache

Completely quit and restart the browser
Use Task Manager (Windows) or Activity Monitor (Mac) to confirm the process has completely ended
Try a different browser
Try opening in a different browser like Chrome, Edge, or Safari
Open in Incognito/Private browsing mode
This doesn't use cache, so the latest version will definitely appear

Windows: Ctrl + Shift + N
Mac: Command + Shift + N
Restart your device
Restarting your PC or phone also clears memory cache

❓ If you don't want to delete cookies

If you uncheck "Cookies" when clearing cache, you can delete only the cache while staying logged in.
However, some sites may have issues, so a complete clear is more reliable.

Go to the app's [Settings]→[Clear Cache] to delete it.
