These terms apply to those participating in the Reading Forest beta test. By registering, you agree to these terms.
Article 1: Definitions
The Service: The web application provided by Reading Forest (https://www.allisone.co.jp/tools/rf/)
Beta Test: Trial operation conducted before official release. Its purpose is to discover and fix bugs in the application, and to correct inconsistencies and improve HTML pages
Beta Tester: A person who agrees to these terms and participates in the beta test
Operator: Allisone Inc.
Feedback: Bug reports, improvement suggestions, user experience reports, questions, and other submissions
Article 2: Eligibility
2.1 Age Requirement
Participation in the beta test is limited to those 13 years of age or older. Those under 13 cannot participate.
2.2 Email Verification
Beta tester registration requires verification of a valid email address. Please click the link in the confirmation email sent during registration to verify your email address. You will not be able to log in until email verification is complete.
2.3 Number of Participants
We plan to recruit approximately 10-30 beta testers. If there are many applicants, the operator may select participants at their discretion.
Article 3: Beta Test Period
The beta test period is as follows:
Start date: Date of registration approval
End date: Official release date (scheduled: around March 15, 2026)
*The period may be extended or shortened at the operator's discretion
Article 4: Beta Tester Benefits
4.1 Basic Benefits (All Participants)
All features free for 1 year (no ads)
Early access to new features
Access to beta tester feedback forum
4.2 Top Contributor Benefits
At the end of beta testing, the top 5-10 contributors by score will receive a 3,000 yen Amazon gift card.
4.3 Credits Listing (Optional)
Those with a contribution score of 50pt or more can apply to have their name listed in the credits (contributor list) at official release.
4.4 Benefits After Official Release (All Participants)
If you upgrade to a paid plan within 7 days after your 1-year free period ends, you'll receive a permanent 20% discount.
Personal plan: ¥380/month → ¥304
Annual plan: ¥3,800 → ¥3,040

Duplicate submissions of the same content do not count
Abstract feedback only or posts clearly intended to increase count are not evaluated
Article 5: Contribution Score Calculation
We comprehensively evaluate the quality and quantity of feedback:

Article 6: Beta Tester Roles and Obligations
6.1 Roles
Actually use the service and verify its operation
Report any issues noticed (bugs, improvement ideas, etc.) (optional)
📌 Feedback is optional
We welcome you even if you just use the app. However, Amazon gift cards are awarded based on contribution score.
6.2 Encouraged Activities (Word of Mouth Welcome)
Sharing your experience on social media (actively encouraged)
Referring friends
Writing reviews on blogs or review sites
Posting usage reports with screenshots
* We'd appreciate if you mention it's a beta version. Feel free to share your honest thoughts.
6.3 Prohibited Activities
Transferring or reselling your right to use the service to third parties
Publicly disclosing source code or security vulnerabilities
Using details of unreleased paid features for commercial purposes
Posting false information
Defamation, abusive language, or aggressive behavior toward other beta testers
Posts unrelated to Reading Forest (politics, religion, commercial promotions, etc.)
Discriminatory remarks or offensive expressions
Attacking the service (DoS attacks, unauthorized access, etc.)
Article 7: Handling of Feedback
7.1 Visibility
Feedback submitted by beta testers will be handled as follows:
Nickname: Public (visible to other beta testers)
Feedback content: Public (posted on beta tester forum)
Email address: Private (only visible to operator)
7.2 Copyright
Copyright of feedback belongs to the beta tester, but the operator has the right to use it for the following purposes:
Service improvement
Quotation in press releases and marketing materials (anonymized)
Sharing with other beta testers
Article 8: Privacy and Security
8.1 Personal Information Handling
Beta testers' personal information is managed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8.2 Information Collected
Nickname
Email address (for account management and contact, not disclosed)
Date of birth (for age verification only, not disclosed)
The following information is sent when using [Help] → [Report Bug]:
Bug category, problem description, reproduction steps, expected behavior
Email address (optional, only if you need a response)
App version, language setting, current URL
Display settings (theme, font size, display density, etc.)
Action log (optional, does not include personal data such as book titles or author names)
*Action logs are used solely for troubleshooting and are never shared with third parties.
Article 9: Disclaimer
9.1 Nature of Beta Testing
This service is a beta version. Please note the following:
Bugs and issues may exist
Specifications may change without notice
The service may be temporarily suspended
Bugs may cause reading notes to become corrupted or lost
⚠️ Please back up your data
During beta testing, there is a risk of data corruption or loss due to bugs. We strongly recommend regularly downloading and backing up your reading notes.
In the event of data loss, the operator cannot guarantee data recovery.
📌 About Automatic Backup
Reading Forest automatically backs up your editing data to your browser 5 minutes after your last edit.
Backups are also created when you switch tabs, minimize the window, or close the page.
If the app crashes unexpectedly, you will see a prompt asking "Previous session data found. Restore this data?" on the next launch.
However, this automatic backup is automatically deleted after 24 hours.
Also, it cannot be restored after clearing browser data or from a different browser, so we recommend manual download saves.
9.2 Operator's Liability
The operator is not liable for the following damages arising from beta testing:
Data loss or corruption
Lost opportunities due to service suspension
Other indirect damages related to beta test usage
Article 10: Suspension and Termination of Beta Test
10.1 Termination by Operator
The operator may suspend or terminate the beta test in the following cases:
Official release is complete
A beta tester violates these terms
Other cases deemed necessary by the operator
10.2 Withdrawal by Beta Tester
Beta testers can withdraw at any time by contacting the operator. Benefits will be invalidated upon withdrawal.
Article 11: Transition After Official Release
11.1 Free Period
All features are free for 1 year from the beta test participation date (no ads).
11.2 Transition to Paid Plans
After the free period ends, you can choose one of the following:
Free plan (20 book limit, with ads)
Personal plan (¥380/month)
Group plan (¥570+/month)
💡 Beta Tester Exclusive: Permanent 20% Discount
If you upgrade to a paid plan within 7 days after your free period ends, you'll receive a permanent 20% discount.
No automatic billing
After the free period ends, you will not be charged unless you explicitly choose a paid plan.
Article 12: Changes to Terms
The operator may change these terms as necessary. Beta testers will be notified by email when changes are made.
Article 13: Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Japanese law. Any disputes relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Saitama District Court as the court of first instance.
